On May 26th to 28th, 2024, we met in Tórshavn at the Faroe Islands for the Moving North Network for startup-meeting.
We met for discussing how we could develop “A formula” – a kind of Manifesto – but more some opportunities when working with dancefilm. Our aim for the meeting was to do an introduction to the different countries and the dancefilm in each country – and get a common ground for analyzing and discussing dancefilm.
Through the talks and questions about the importance of dancefilm, we moved towards a common understanding of the quality of the art form.
